The Treatment Process

If you are interested in Invisalign®, you will first meet with our dentists, who will be able to tell you whether Invisalign® is an appropriate choice for achieving the improvements you desire. Using advanced technology, you will be able to see a 3-D representation of the progress your smile will make over the course of your treatment. Next, your custom-made clear aligners will be created offsite. You will wear each mouthpiece for two weeks before wearing the next in the series. Each mouthpiece will gradually help guide your teeth into proper alignment. About every four to six weeks, you will return to the dentist to monitor your progress. The duration of your treatment will depend on the extent of your orthodontic needs.

You will wear your mouthpiece all day, removing it only to eat meals, brush and floss, and clean your mouthpiece. In general, you should wear your mouthpiece for at least 22 hours per day.
